On October 22, 2011 in Miami, after 3 quarters of disappointing football from the Denver Broncos, it looked like both teams were going to walk away from that game with 1-5 records, but then something amazing happened, the Broncos decided to show up. The Broncos scored two touchdowns and converted one 2-point conversion (a Tebow run) to make up a 15-point 4th quarter deficit and take the game into overtime. In overtime, the Broncos were able to seal the deal with a 52 yard field goal from Prater.
It wasn’t a performance to gloat about, but the Broncos will take the win and not look back. McGahee was again the featured back in the offense, carrying the ball 18 times for a total of 76 yards, and both touchdowns came from Tim Tebow passes.
Next week the Broncos will host the Detroit Lions and will look to rebound from their poor 1-4 start. Keep reading this Denver Broncos blog for all the Broncos news necessary to keep you informed.
