Long drive says it all

Well . . . that was nice.

USP NFL: PRESEASON-SEATTLE SEAHAWKS AT DENVER BRON S FBN USA CO

We all know that the third pre-season game is the one. The one to evaluate. The first one we usually forget about. In fact, we’ll probably forget about this one in a couple of days.

But for now Thursday nights 21-16 Broncos’ win over the Seattle Seahawks (a team we all now hate), has to stand on it’s own. And one drive tells the story.

The line blocked (Hey!! Ryan Clady’s back). The running backs didn’t fumble. The receivers caught passes down field. And the quarterback did hurry his reads and his passes. It all resulted in a 9 minutes, 9 second 18-play drive. Enough said.

It was a drive of beauty, minus the penalties. And it was drive that said – at least at this moment – the offense is ready.

I can’t wait .  . . three more weeks!!
